"MEET JOSHUA (MR. H)"
Caring for All Beings is a U.S. nonprofit organization. EIN: 38-3814169
Joshua Mufabule, Mr. “H”, (Humanitarian), is the Director of Caring for All Beings Orphanage in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
He oversees the daily care of 39 orphaned and vulnerable children, providing food, housing, education, life-skills training, and a safe place to call home.
Joshua has dedicated his life to helping vulnerable children, protecting animals, and serving his community. Together with Betty Delman and supporters around the world, he is working to build a brighter future for children who have lost their families and homes.
Being born in the Village and from the age of 4, my parents migrated following the ethnic war which had destroyed our Village to the City of Goma which is at a distance of approximately 35 kilometers, it is in the City from Goma where I started my basic education until my university and it is in the same city where my passion for animals began.
It was in 2008 when I was in the 5th year of Educational Humanities that my passion for animals began, especially since I spent most of my time watching animal documentaries.
Just after high school, my choice was to do the faculty that would allow me to be alongside animals and that is why in 2010 my choice went to Tourism, Leisure and Nature Conservation. My desire was fulfilled when I studied my first course which talks about animals, their life and their habits, systematic animal morphology. This course gave me the courage to join environmental and animal rights associations and so since 2012, I have been working in associations and movements. My taste for veganism began in 2015 when I reflected on the resemblance between wild, domestic, aquatic and human animals and the feeling that neither animal nor man has about life. The defender of animal rights cannot be the one who is at the origin of his suffering, eating animal flesh means that we do not love him especially since love is synonymous with sympathy. This is how from 2018 I became vegan. The animal rights defender must be exemplary. In order to materialize my passion and have decision-making in what I would like us to do as part of our activities, it was the same year, in the month of June 2018, that I saw fit to set up the Forum des Amis de Développement et la Pretection de l’Environnement FADPE asbl.
My life has been happy and perfect since I dedicated myself to a good cause. I am happy to have people of different ages at my side who are capable of mobilizing other people to their supreme being.
Especially since the lives of animals will be in danger and their rights neglected and sabotaged, I will stay with the good cause until the end of my days.
My passion for animals will be and remain eternal.
I focus my time, my energy and my life on our roommates on the planet.
One day all living beings will live there in harmony.
Also, living in a country at war which has already killed more than 7 million people since the so-called war of liberation of 1996, the population of the province of North Kivu have also suffered from the wars of 1998, 2003, 2007-2013, 2021 to these days. These wars left many families in mourning and caused the presence of orphans, widows, displaced by war that are oppressed.
Living alongside these oppressed people, who have difficulty being fed, clothed and educated, I felt sorry for them and I said to myself that one day, I would create a support center which could welcome these oppressed people who are like black sheep missing who can come to their aid and whose this center can serve them with all school education, accommodation and make it useful for them and for the community with the objective of making it optimistic, competitive and smiling.
I thank God who was able to make the first part of my dream come true by allowing us to build a center where orphans feel safe and a safe place of refuge from the kind-hearted and compassionate person ready to make those like us happy, my lovely adopted Mom, BETTY DELMAN in the USA. May she receive our thanks.
I am happy to have a charming wife Jessica and my three children Joana, Alexander, and Grace who comfort and encourage me so that I am never abandoned.
This support center for orphans, widows and the downtrodden is 100% vegan and we will be showing visual interviews using televisions of people who have already opted for veganism and the joy they have.
My dream is to see these children grow up, learn skills that will be useful to them in adulthood, so they can be of service to themselves and to the community.
Currently, the orphanage houses 39 orphans who were living, some on the streets and others with friends of their deceased parents, in dire straits.
These children are learning trades such as tailoring, electrical work, computer skills, and English to broaden their horizons. The children are happy to live here at the Caring for All Beings orphanage.
I am confident that one day Caring for All Beings orphanage will be able to provide shelter, hope, and a future to hundreds of orphans who currently have only the streets as family and shelter.
With God’s help, we will achieve this.
Thank you to everyone who is making this dream a reality, and I hope that everyone who dreams of working at the orphanage will embrace this dream and together ensure a better future and give hope to these children who have no other refuge.
